It may not be in your world's history, but I have fought this war once. World War II was a tragedy. I will not do it again.

They must be stopped. I know Rip -- Lieutenant van Winkle -- and I understand her nature and her philosophies. She will not stop. She has told me so already, and I believe every word.

Lockon and I are gathering allies to deal with this. The police will take too much time, too roundabout and public a method. They are too expected and too clumsy for this. Killing them will do nothing. Ignoring them will do even less. This requires tactics, and planning, and careful work.
