Possible Scenarios
*Possible pre-made scenarios laid out for convenience and brain-storming!
*I'd be happy to play either 'X', or 'Y', but for the purposes of the game, let's just say I prefer 'Y'.

Character Driven Lines (G->R)
1) After the Virgin Sacrifice: It's all well and good for the rest of the village, but what happens to the sacrifice-ee? X is the sacrificial lamb, Y is the God/Goddess (or entire pantheon) of Gods that X has been sacrificed to. Instead of a doomed ending, X is treated to an exploratory adventure of realms that s/he never really believed possible. (Possible elements of PWP of course. XD I think this would be more fun as a story of discovery, however.)

2) The Believer and the Skeptic: Based out of the zombie-apocalypse, text-based game, Urban Dead, X is the harried scientist trying to find a permanent cure to break the cycle of human->zombie->human resurrection. Y is the psychotic Death Cultist who believes that the cycle is perfect as it is... and is smart enough to stalk after X to try to show X the one true way. The two cross paths often, and may even develop a sick sense of companionship after a while. After all, nobody's getting out of Malton any time soon...

3) Damned Dirty Vampire: X is fascinated by vampires and their hierarchies... however, when X stumbles over Y, X doesn't get what s/he expected. Y is a sorry wreck who drinks only when given permission and who is more embarrassed to feed than to have sex; Y doesn't want to be this way, but in X's actions, is led in a very twisted way to become the monstrous killer that vampires are known for. Perhaps Y turns on X or has enough sense to spare X... it depends on where you want to go with this.

4) The Eyes Have It: Y is a demon/demoness and X is Y's next victim in a world where humans are slaves to darker powers. Y's ultimate desire is to work up its victims to love it, then harvesting the slaves heart and eyes for their symbolic (and possibly literal) value. X is responsible to save themselves, perhaps meeting some NPC's on the way to expose Y's true intent to the potential victim and to help X when s/he needs it most. Does X succeed?! :o

5) Power Struggle: In the same world as (4), X and Y are demonic or angelic powers (one per. XD) who have become so self involved in their petty struggles that they've forgotten their original mission. Perhaps it takes some slaves to give them a nudge towards real war or to mend things in a different direction...

Plot Driven Lines
1) Dubious Allies: Based upon the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix, the Old Kingdom has experienced a golden era restored by Sabriel the Abhorsen and Lirael the Remembrancer. Things are going better than well -- Free Magic intrusions are at all time low. In fact... two or three generations later, the Old Kingdom is doing so well that Free Magic is all but a myth. The problem now is that the Charter is becoming static; it's strangling the Kingdom with imposed order... and the only ones who can balance things out are the current Abhorsen -- a rather morally ambiguous person to begin with -- with the aid of a self taught Free Magic Necromancer whose intentions are far from pure. (Take your pick of Abhorsen or Necromancer. >:D Either sound fun to me!)

2) Amnesiacs Are Fun: X and Y have no idea how they got here... or who they are... or why everything is so fucked up. All they know is that they have a connection to one another, and that if they survive this hell hole long enough, they may find their way to some answers. (Based on Silent Hill shenanigans!)

2.5) Amnesiacs With Tentacles Are Fun: In addition to X and Y surviving a horror-filled nightmare land, the longer they take to overcome it, the more effect the land has on them. This can manifest in small mutations, temporarily giving in to madness and monstrousness, and red herrings as to 'who am I, really?' If they can't piece things together, they may wind up as mindless monsters, themselves.

3) Power Corrupts Truly: In this alternate, yet contemporary setting, X and Y are separately following cases that are growing more and more frequent: magic is becoming accessible to more people and those who aren't properly trained to use it are becoming corrupted by it in various, unimaginable ways. X and Y suspect that one or the other is somehow involved, given that they keep running into one another. As they plot thickens, they must find out what's behind this rampancy before madness swallows the earth forever.

PWP or Very Little Plot
1) Whisk Me Away: X and Y are in a friends-with-benefits relationship. X has talked in the past about kidnapping fantasies with Y, and Y decides to take X up on this. With X's permission to create a 'surprise', Y and some of Y's friends blindfold X and take him/her back to Y's place to ravage X.

2) Mind Games: X and Y always, always come within millimeters of fucking one another senseless, but each has a sick sense of self control, so one backs off at the last second. This is the way that it's always been. They are technically mortal enemies, after all.
