Where to start?

When did Tuesday become the new Monday? Today is as bad as yesterday. Don't like.

Now, a few things, mixed up.

First a question: Have you read the Blood Ties books by Tanya Huff? Would you recommend?

A meme I saw at cordeliadelayne.

Choose your genre show, answer the questions using episode titles from that show--if possible, don't repeat any.

I picked Third Watch ( Read more... )

tv: fringe, meme, tv: reaper, tv: the mentalist, flist, movies, books

I haven't read them and if you're going to watch the series, I wouldn't recommend reading them till later. The reason I say that is that because I've seen a lot of people upset by the differences between the book and the series. It's like there is a misunderstanding of Alan Ball having creative control. But then again - I've never been one to like spoilers either.

You're talking True Blood, right? Alan Ball is True Blood. ;-) It is quite confusing with the whole blood here, blood there and vampires... LOL

Now, we're even. LOL The other day, I messed up True Blood and The Vampire Diaries, at your journal, I think. LOL

But yeah, I know what you mean. It's always a little different.

I've read the Blood Ties books and wasn't that impressed.

I've now read all the True Blood books and they are actually quite good. I read them really fast and they won't spoil your enjoyment of the show. The author is completely happy with how the show is being written and the changes don't matter that much. You can sorta see why they are necessary and the good thing is you can still watch the show and be surprised.

I want to read the True Blood books, too.

Blood Ties, I just had in mind the other day and thought I could ask my flist what they think.

Thanks. :-)
