This! Oh, this was so sweet! I really liked how you highlighted the similarities between Toby and Daphne and had Emmett partially falling for Toby because of them at first, but then Toby managed to make Emmett like him for his own awesomeness. The messages on the notepad was a great idea and I liked many of the little details you added, like Emmett needing to sign for Toby even though he couldn't understand and the "too personal" lyrics on the notepad. But I really loved how Emmett ended up falling asleep and Toby let him have his bed! So cute!! I could completely see that scene, with Toby all crumpled up at the side of the bed. I know it's only a handful of episodes in, but I feel like that would be something Toby would do for a friend. This was just all around lovely and I hope that you end up writing another one!
