It was really lovely. At some points it read like... a fairytale? I'm not sure but something was magical about it. Also the idea of baker!Jaehyo is adorable. :c

Here he is though, selling cookies. Cookies that make people sad.
But why though. :c He only ever makes me happy.

It's adorable how you made him bake cookies in such shapes, it just adds to that fairytale feel of it. Like, this was part of a book made for pre-teens w/ that supernatural touch? lol mind you that is not an insult bec tbh those are the kinds of books I like most. This fic is all subtle and that clicks. c:

He stays in the shop... certain days.
I liked his longing and denial of it here and in another pragraph, esp because you set him up as someone who distances himself from much human contact and feelings. ;~; It's ok to fall for Jiho, Jaehyo. ;3;

I found a random prompt on-line tbh. It went kind of like this: "Write about cookies. Cookies that make people sad." Somehow that automatically made me think of Jaehyo as a baker lol

That's ok bbg. That's the feeling I was going for.

Of course it's Jaehyo's discovery of human feelings that made the cookies happy. Once he truly started to feel, he could transfer happiness into them, even though he probably wasn't happy to be left alone. It's more of a metaphor.

I don't think it'd work as a longer fic tbh ;~; And there's only one person who is as obnoxious as the cat was ke ke ke

I didn't want it extra long lol just probably a few more fluffy moments between them for me to see how Jaehyo ~fell for Jiho~ ... like at 2K words. BUT I GUESS I CAN'T ASK THAT OF YOU BEC YOU'LL JUST GET A THOUSAND TIMES MORE PRESSED WRITING IT JFC LOLOLOL poor jemmy. ;~; But this effort is much appreciated. I think more than /jaeco/ per se this was more Jaehyo-centric kinda pre-slash fic and that's fine because I love those things too.

kittens know best obviously. being all :| and :3 within close times. he was a star and obviously necessary character all his own. and i really like this idea of depressing cookies. i had never thought of this really. i mean you hear of food making ppl happy, but it never comes to mind that the opposite could be true as well.

this is so cute, oh my god. i love it ;~; jaehyo the baker and his cookies of despair ;~; this actually reminded me a teensy bit of the show pushing daisies; idk if you've ever heard of it - it features a baker with a depressing talent, too (although his is that he can bring the dead back to life temporarily).

you should really consider writing more jaeco~ just saying~~
