Sakura was walking slowly to the tenements area, the place where she was supposed to meet Haku. The last time they met they were enemies... Come to think of it, he and Zabuza weren't "bad" at all. No, they were just trying to achieve their goals... To fulfill their dreams...

Just like Sasuke-kun, when he left the Konohagakure.

The person standing in front of Sakura attracted her attention.

Hello, Haruno-san.

"Hello, Haku." she wasn't sure what to say. After all, it's been three years since she saw his death. "Um... How are you?"

The first thing that he noticed was the height discrepancy. Sakura had been only a little shorter than him before his death, and now she was around three or four inches taller than him. 'How time flies', indeed, though it had only been roughly more than half a year since he had arrived in this world.

"You've grown," Haku said, a lightly teasing tone to his voice, smiling kindly at her to let her know that the change hadn't affected him negatively. "And I suppose I'm doing as well as one can be in this place."

He gestured down the street. "We can talk while we walk. How are you faring in this place, if I may ask?"

It felt strange. Talking to the person who had died. Sakura was still a bit confused, so she just nodded.

The girl started walking down the street in the pointed direction. "Well, it's sure not easy to live here, but I'm okay." After a moment of hesitation, she added "Still, I feel a bit... lonely in that pharmacy. I mean, you're the first person from our world I've met so far..." she tried not to look anxious. "I'd like to meet everyone... Kakashi-sensei, Hinata, Neiji and... Sasuke-kun... Ah, sorry, I'm talking too much." That's right, Haku didn't know about Sasuke... or did he?

He walked beside Sakura, listening to her as she talked. It was understandable that she had chosen the pharmacy as her place of residence; Kakashi had said that she trained to be a medic nin, and it would give her access to the tools that she needed. Still, the pharmacy was likely in the neighborhood, and and it was easy to end up anywhere and everywhere in that area.

Haku didn't know who Hinata and Neji were, but he did know where Kakashi and Sasuke were staying. How could he not, when he was living with the former on the same floor with the latter? For a moment, he wondered how she would react when or if he told her about their living arrangements.

"I've seen Kakashi-san, Sasuke-san, and Mitarashi Anko-san - I believe she's a friend of Kakashi-san's... and, no, please continue if you'd like."

It was a crude way of getting her to talk and it felt wrong to use it, but he was interested in what Sakura wanted to say.
