Who: The Kaizer and Daisuke What: Ken lures Daisuke to his base with a not so nice intent Where: Kaizer's base When: after this log and this one Rating: PG...FOR NOW Open: Only to Daisuke and Wormmon <3
The blunette called it and made the pain even worse. His face flushed, shamed that he was that easy to read. If Taichi were in this position, there was no doubt in Daisuke's mind that he wouldn't give the Kaizer the pleasure of seeing him this low.
Ironically enough, it didn't seem like the goggle boy was the only one thinking of the others.
"Bait?"
The word rang in Daisuke's mind and brought with it a flood of fears. Because of his naiive moment and hope, he'd just placed the others in severe danger. "No..." The boy heavily breathed, almost unaudioably, before snapping to face the Kaizer. He could barely restrain the desperate expression from showing on his face despite shooting a sharp glare.
"Leave them alone Ken!" The shackles around Daisuke's wrists felt heavier now. Probably because he was still fatigued and quickly running out of anymore energy to toss about.
The maroon haired boy dared to step forward, just once, attempting to muster enough strength to keep standing his ground.
"That's right, Motomiya. Bait." He emphasized it with as much amusement as possible. Yes, Bait. For being a naive fool and falling right into the trap I so generously laid out...
The tears were quite delectable. Ken started laughing at his rival's face. The horror, the desperation...it was beautiful. Daisuke's look then shifted from helpless to aggressive, which made Ken smirk even more. Everything Ken had done was to watch the other boy's reactions. And he enjoyed every minute of them. Even more so now that the goggle head was at his mercy.
Coming to this world really was a great thing.
"Leave them alone?" Ken challenged Daisuke's step forward with two more, almost invading his personal space again. "And why, would I want to do that, Motomiya-kun? When I finally have you all. Right. Where. I. Want. You."
It was probably impossible to look any more sadistic than he currently did.
Had it been possible to scowl and glare anymore than he already had been? Daisuke felt nothing short of rage filling his very being. If he hadn't been so exhausted and bound at the end a chain, the goggle boy would have looked much more threatening than he did at that second. The faces of his friends kept warping into those twisted in pain and despair. It was far too agonizing to bare! At the end of it all, Daisuke could remember a not so distant picture of he and Ken smiling to each other, after a long night's fight. The two of them together, side by side

In a scene very reminiscent of one long past, the Kaizer smirked as Daisuke fell to his knees in submission. What was it that made moments like this so enticing for the blunette? Was it proving he was right? No, there was something more to it...but this wasn't the time for analysis. Rather...it was time to savor the moment. Ken hadn't even commanded Daisuke to fall and he did. All for the sake of the others.
"Don't hurt them."
...The others.
The words struck a familiar chord somewhere inside Ken. But it was a double-edged sword, for though it brought a feeling of warmth, it also brought a feeling of...
"..."
Daisuke's cry echoed off the walls, his scream resonating inside Ken's mind. A familiar chime in unison with his own...
NO.
That was merely something brought about by the insinuations the others kept putting in his head. He was never friends with the boy before him. He never felt anything but contempt for the idiotic maroon-haired child. Hatred like in the voice Daisuke used when talking to him
