Who: Naoki akkirasetsu and Guy jewelofgardios What: Guy invites Naoki over for food. Naoki decides to go. Where: Guy's bar. When: RIGHT NOW. Rating: PG-13, for violence...? Open: No. D:
Guy was already in the kitchen, checking the various supplies available and getting himself organized. There was a dinner coming up soon enough - whenever Robin decided to drop by with whoever it was he trusted - and he figured it was better to be prepared than not.
He couldn't help but be curious about Naoki once again. Raw meat (not fish) was all he could eat? Unusual, but then again, he himself ate raw meat whenever he had sushi. Maybe he just didn't like it cooked? Or maybe it was a demon thing. Either way, it was rude to ask too many questions, especially since Naoki already sounded like he didn't want to divulge too much information about it. So he kept his mouth shut.
Hearing the door, he set aside the pots he'd been cleaning out and headed into the bar area, absently wiping his hands on a towel and offering the young-looking demon a smile. "Hey, Naoki, you made it."
Naoki acknowledged Guy with a nod, glancing around the room, impressed that it seemed to be in fairly good condition. Most of the buildings he had seen so far had been little more than dilapidated. That this one could serve as an actual establishment was quite something.
Walking to the counter, Naoki tried not to take notice of the life he felt from Guy, radiating off him in energetic waves. After being in this dead place so long, the people themselves were all the more drawing. It was a problem. Control, he had to have control.
"I appreciated the invitation," Naoki said as he reached his destination. "Help is hard to come by here."
Guy gave the towel a quick fold, setting it on the bar counter, and motioned Naoki to follow him further in as he turned back towards the kitchen. "It's no problem! It's pretty fortunate of me to have my own little food supply, but it wouldn't be fair to keep it to myself when other people are going hungry. I'm just glad to help as much as I can." He grinned, glancing back as he reached the door. "It helps me meet people, too. This place can get pretty lonely just by myself."
"I see," Naoki said in response, although he really didn't. He preferred to be alone. Why Guy would go out of his way to create an atmosphere to attract people, he didn't know. Rather than say that aloud, he sat on one of the stools in front of the counter, feeling foolish but with enough burgeoning desperation not to notice. Why did Guy's lifeforce have to be so strong...?
Naoki had intended to say something else, but was...distracted, eyes wandering to Guy's throat. The demon wanted something alive to feed from, not something gone dead and cold...
Blinking at the other man as his eyes lowered - what was he looking at? - Guy shrugged it off and disappeared into the kitchen for a moment. He looked at the fridge for a moment, brows furrowed, and thought of... food. Chicken? Everyone liked chicken. Maybe not raw, but if that was what Naoki needed, who was he to argue?
He opened the door and, to his surprise (though not as strong as it had been the first few times), a container of cleaned meat was sitting plain as day on one of the shelves. He took it out, surprised a second time to find it still somewhat warm, and headed back into the bar to offer it out to the waiting demon, smiling again and trying not to look too wary. "Is this alright? I wanted it as fresh as I could get, so..."

Help that Naoki would accept, anyway.
