Maya had been a great help, getting him home and fussing over him. He really appreciated the fact that she would even stay with him. After all they'd been through, he was always a little afraid that she would get tired of being in danger and decide that it wasn't worth it. But she came through for him every time.
He had peeled his shirt off, wincing at the fact that it was soaked with his own blood, and crying out in pain softly since the fabric was clinging to the edges of the wound. He tried to be a man about it, but he hadn't ever been stabbed before, and it hurtWhen the two of them had returned, Phoenix expected Franziska to be where he left her, but she wasn't. "Oh god -- Nick, OH GOD. I'm so sorry-- s-stop moving!" The medium had flailed a bit, pressing a towel [one she'd found and inspected throughroughly in the bathroom]which she had dampened against the wound to try and stop the bleeding.
It was at this point, she heard the door opening, and paused, looking over at the two. She smiled weakly at Robin, and then turned her attention towards Mia. Her eyes widened -- in all honesty, she really wasn't too sure if she believed Mia was really here. Her sister was dead, after all. . .
. . .And yet, here she was, defying all logic, and in the very same room. As much as she wanted to run over and throw her arms around the elder sibling,, she didn't want to abandon poor Phoenix. Maya swallowed hard, fighting back tears as she stared at poor Mia.
"S-sis. . .?"

With that, she crossed to the pair, kneeling next to Phoenix on the couch. There was a lot of blood, but so far Phoenix seemed to be pretty aware of himself, which was good. He hadn't lost too much blood.
"Lie back down and let us take care of you. We'll deal with pleasantries later."
