Very slowly she opened her eyes again. Oh no... I fell asleep again... I wonder if I'm still in the same world. I hate falling asleep
She looked around the bleak room. Her eyes adjusted to the dim light, and she saw her decrepit surroundings. Tattered curtains hung against grimy windows. She finally realized that there was someone else with his head on the bed next to her.
"Syaoran-kun? Where are we?" She looked about and blinked. "Have you seen Fai-san, or Kurogane-san?"
She could tell there was something different about this Syaoran, but what she didn't know.
Somewhat groggy, Syaoran lifted his head up. He didn't even realize he fell asleep. Gazing up, his eyes focused on an awake Sakura.
"Sakura-hime, are you alright? I'm not sure where we are. I found you passing out along the street. I haven't seen Fai-san or Kurogane-san."
Looking into Sakura's eyes, Syaoran could see that there was a mixture of confusion. He hadn't hoped to fool his princess, but instead believed that she'd be able to accept him like she had accepted his... other self.
He cringed slightly at the possibility that she would just flat out reject him and slowly released her hand, suddenly feeling awkward as though he were intruding and forcing himself onto her.
He looked at her with the same look his other self would give her. Sighing inwardly to himself, he began. He hated lying, and he would never forgive himself if he were to lie to of all people, her.
"I'm not sure if you know or remember entirely what has happened, but I'm not exactly the same Syaoran that you've been travelling with. I'm different, but at the same time, the same. I've seen everything that has ever happened to you, Kurogane-san, and Fai-san. Although I'm not the same, I do share the same feelings that my other self had felt, as well as the same desire to help you."
Pausing for a moment to recollect his thoughts as well as try to read her facial expression.
