This was Yuri.

This was Yuri, actually braving and fighting off the clamor in his head so that he could just take a peek at the Church. It was a great enough feat that he thought he deserved... something. Praise, or something. From a pretty girl, preferably.

But no, all he got was a dead body.

Crap, Yuri thought as he jogged up to the guy. His head was hurting already, but he couldn't just leave the body here. There was blood coming from the chest, too.

"Who the hell did this?" He wondered aloud, glancing for any sign of the attacker. First thing's first, he needed to take the dead guy somewhere else so that he could think straight. Grabbing the upper body, he started to drag it farther away from the Church.

[ooc: i hope this is okay? :3]

Insects? This guy was afraid of some bugs? Yuri had slept in the parks plenty of times and never got threatened by any bugs! Maybe a rat ot two, but that was it. Then again, he wasn't a corpse, so maybe Roy was right to be worried.

"All right," Yuri drawled in response to Roy's command. Yuri began hefting the (kinda tall) body towards the neighborhood. "Let's get you to a house, dead man!"

Easier said than done. After minutes of dragging the body through the streets, around a park, and to the nearest house, Yuri was about ready to just drop the body on the ground. But he wasn't about to incite the wrath of a ghost, so he went ahead into the house and pushed his load onto a bed in one of the rooms.

He sighed in relief. "This good enough? Or do you want me to tuck you in, too?"

Roy followed Yuri to the house. To say that he was thankful to the man for carrying his body was definitely not enough.

He watched as his companion struggled to drag the corpse inside the building, to the bedroom and into the bed. It was definitely sweet of him, though Mustang considered all that treatments an exaggeriation - considering that the one treated was a dead body.

"No, I don't think that would be necessary since I'm already out cold, to say at least." Roy chuckled, giving the young man an amused look. "Any ideas now? A parting or you wish to keep me company for some more?"

To be honest, he hoped for the second one. Though he wouldn't admit that.

"Unless you're sick of me," Yuri replied to the voice, "I'm not goin' anywhere."

He said it with such determination, he even impressed himself. Of course, that meant that he might be in for the long haul. But who cared? He was complaining about being bored just a while ago, so this was definitely better than that. For him at least, maybe not for the dead guy.

Yuri Volte Hyuga: Speaker for the Dead. That would sound neat if it didn't send shivers up his spine.

"Uh, what now?" Yuri rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I mean, we gotta deal with that guy you were talking about earlier. And how to make you not-dead, if it can happen."

Roy smiled at the determination audible in man's voice. Subconsciously he thought that his companion would be a great material for a man of military; that was a rather bitter realization, somehow.

Yet there was another pressing matter troubling him - Alphonse. Or rather a way of announcing the boy his... current state.

"First one is more important. About the second, those who are dead cannot be brought back to life." There was no bitterness in his voice.

Mustang begun to subconsciously pace around the room. "The way of informing him should be subtle enough to not to provoke him into doing anything stupid. So, then we should convey the information via phone or something. But then we would have no control over his reaction. If we want such control, then the option is, like, inviting him here for tea. The drawback is, while in shock he might do something none of us would be fond of. Ah, and by the way, his name is Alphonse Elric."

"Hey, come on," Yuri said. "I'm sure there's a way to make things back the way they were. This is a weird place, after all." He was just trying to be positive, really. The only way of reviving the dead that Yuri knew of was with the Book of the Dead, but that was only if you wanted to come back as a vengeful demon. Anyone who tried to use the book would only be disappointed ( ... )

Roy only chuckled. It might seem that Yuri was a helpless optimist yet his word didn't lack any logic. This was indeed a weird place.

Mustang eyed the man who was toying with the computer-thing. He couldn't say that he was happy about Alphonse's discovery; but what he could expect from such a bright boy that he was?

"Reply him then." He fought himself to not to add a 'be careful' comment; such repetition would be an insult to his companions intelligence.

Now, he could only wait.

After much chicken-pecking of the keys, Yuri leaned back and admired his responses. They weren't eloquent or anything, but at least he didn't lie to the kid.

"Okay." He got up and stretched his arms above his head. "I've asked him to meet me near the park, 'cause I said I saw you around the houses. I jus' need him to say that he's coming and we'll be off."

Yuri didn't know where Roy was now, but he turned around as if he could see the ghost. "I don't think I wanna have 'im come to this house first thing; that'd make 'im freak like hell. So you an' me can go meet him out there.

"An' you need to talk to him or something." Yuri emphasized this point heavily. "I don't want this guy thinking I'm nuts or somethin'. I think if I can hear you, then maybe he can hear you too."

"Fine then." There was some resignation in his voice; he wasn't overexcited with the prospective of meeting Alphonse in his... current state.

Roy was thinking over and over again all the possible reactions they could get form the boy. He might not be as hot-tempered as his brother but still was quite emotional. At moments he wondered if they should tell him at all.

"Yes, certainly a voice from out of nowhere is more convincing," Mustang snarled, then added in more serious voice "I still can hardly imagine the whole situation. Seems that we'll figure out everything in practice."

A voice from out of nowhere was convincing to Yuri, but then again he'd had experience with that sort of thing. And the people he knew didn't freak out much when it came to occult-ish stuff anyway, so maybe it really was just him.

This was all mental justification to not snap back at the ghost's tone of voice.

"Yeah yeah, we'll just see how things go," Yuri said as he glanced at the recently received confirmation. "Let's go ahead and head on out, unless you really wanna hang back. I ain't waitin' for ya."

And with that, Yuri walked out of the room. He had a meeting place to go to.

[ooc: i think al-mun is starting a new post for us, so i guess it's 'to be continued' there. :3]
