GODDDAMN THAT LEE BASTARD! Who does he think he is?! What happened out there was complete utter coincidence! How the hell can he expect to work with anyone here if he's constantly finding reasons not to trust us?!

I'm going to the gym. I need to blow off some steam. If anyone wants me, you know where to find

No. He made the right choice.

We have an enemy who have access to secret information, and an ally who we find out has a connection to the enemy. He would be a fool to not investigate the nature of that connection.

Maybe so. But he's barking up the wrong tree here. Latooni is innocent!

Then she'll have no problem with the questioning. Just don't forget how by surprise Ingram took us all.

Ingram was totally different, though. Ever notice how he never even tried to get to know any of us?

I don't really believe in coincidence.

So you think it's more likely that Latooni is a traitor?!

...if it was almost anyone but Latooni, I'd say so. It's a hard call to make, but Lee does need to look at the bigger picture - she's not the only suspect by a long shot.

And there may not even be a traitor at all. I mean, it's totally possible that someone hacked into the database from outside the GDF.

Seems like a prudent decision to me, mon ami. Better safe than sorry.

Following a red herring is prudent?

Who's to say what is and isn't a red herring? From the reports I've read, the girl has a reasonable connection to the events and should be investigated. A little extra prudence costs little. A betrayal at an integral moment costs far, far more.

I've known Latooni for over two years. Hell, I know her better than just about anyone else on this base. There's no way in hell she'd sell us out. It does not fit at all with her character.

I'm pissed about it too, believe me. The girl's not the traitor type.

But that attack was just too damn coordinated. Either the "Neo" DC has new equipment or there's a leak somewhere, be it intentional or unintentional. Until we get to the bottom of this, we are going to have to make sure no other up-and-coming machines go the way of the Falken.

Yeah. Hell will freeze over before Latooni sells us out. If anything, someone hacked in from the outside.

Signum's in the gym and in kendo gear by the time Simon gets there.

"You're handling this better than the last person who had a problem with Lee."

[Simon chucks his bag to the side.]

I can't defend what matters to me in the brig.

A very wise insight.

*Waits for Simon to get his bokken and padding*

Lee is looking in the wrong place, though. That's obvious even to Latooni's acquaintances, let alone her friends.

*starts pulling on his kendo gear*

Well, I'm glad somebody else thinks so.
