Spiral stood on a strange distant world in a far off dimension, standing in the middle of a strange red sand desert that stretched as far as the eyes could see in all direction, four full moons of varying size in the blue sky above.

Standing in the Nexus park, blades out and flashing in the sunlight as he trained, Shatterstar almost missed the echo on the wind.

"Shatterstar..... Gaveedra..... I call you child..."

He looked around briefly, ascertaining that he wasn't just missing Spiral's presence.

The blades flickered with light and he understood. But for long moments, he did nothing. He didn't know if he wanted to see Spiral.

Pride won out. He reached out, much like he had done with Longshot, suggesting that the Wild Ways take him to his genetic donor.

In a flash of light he vanished from the park, only to appear some short distance from Spiral. "Do you want something?"

Good, continue to do so. *she looks him straight in the face, white eyes glowing* There has never been another that could Time-dance, only you have ever been able to do so. But Time-dancing is unique to me and now you... And so others may recognize it and may deduce our connection, beware and be weary. Avoid if you can dealings with the various governments of earth, if they know of your new powers they will attempt to capture you for their own purposes (*X-Factor was sent out to capture Spiral for the government in the Shattershot series*). Also and I must stress, child. Avoid the Dragons of the Crimson Dawn at-all-cost! If they find out about your powers and your genetic connection to me they may attempt to capture you.
There are also...creatures... that roam the WildWays.
