I'm in Shanghai!!! Everything went pretty smoothly. The two worst things of the whole trip were a) the in-flight internet I paid for didn't end up working, and b) I couldn't easily call or email my parents or Rudy right away after arriving

same here ^^ I had a simliar disaster the first night I got to spain, I couldn't get through to anyone and I felt awful but you will sort that out somehow for future. Good luck with your apartment, I hope you will like it.
