Okay, so I went to my doctor about my ribs. He did a thorough examination, feeling my rib area and putting pressure on it and asking if it hurt, etc. Sometimes it did hurt, pretty badly. Hmm, that seems crappy. Then again, I've had permanent damage to my ankle from 2003 and haven't had anyone confirm it's not something bad...but the rib area is a little more concerning, I'd think. I'm finally getting my problems looked at and it's good. I think I'll even have a circulation test and I'm going to mention my cysts at my next appt. Abernathy sounds lazy.

Well, I'm pretty convinced it's a fracture, too, but it would be good to double-check. I remember it happening, if that is in fact what happened, and like I've said before, Phillip experienced very similar things when he cracked a rib in boot camp. There's nothing that can be done for a fractured rib, anyway, so leaving it alone and taking ibuprofen and not rock climbing is probably the best idea. I'm just going to miss rock climbing for awhile. -_-

The ibuprofen can also help heal because it is an anti-inflammatory.

It is disappointing when the doctor won't verify something.
