Oh, God, that's so beautiful and perfect and...really, how do you manage to nail Alfredo's voice so well? It's just utterly brilliant.

And if the latter were to be his chosen path, would it be enough to hold her and make her his? Would that be enough to tear her away from the other man in her life, the one who had her heart first, but would never make it his? Or would he be forever doomed to love her from afar- to touch and yet never touch, to be as close to her as her own heart, but never be as close as he wanted to be, and, all the while, to be eternally damned to his fate of watching her through windows, all while convincing himself that the proximity was enough.

And I loved how you incorporated your own little 'touch/proximity' complex, much like the Ned/Chuck, but on a more emotional level.
