Warning - pic heavy. I have not been arsed to figure out, on my aging computer with four options for sizing pictures three of which I cannot understand and one of which I don't know how to get this photo into,how to resize them, so they will take 1000 years to load, sorry. to add insult to injury, I can't figure out how to even hide them under ( Read more... )

I love the tiny castle! I love it! Now I want one!

And the picture from Bear Mountain is pretty, too. Now I find myself wondering if I can find Bear Mountain on a map.

1. Find map

2. Find New York

3. Find Manhattan

4. Look directly up - between land right on top of Manhattan and land right on top of New Jersey, there is a River. This is the Hudson River

5. Look up river. Go up past Tappan Zee Bridge. Next Bridge is Bear Mountain Bridge.

6. On West Bank of River is Bear Mountain...

(I am allowed to talk to her like this because she's my sister...)
