What is there to say.  Little children.  Little tiny children.  Little tiny snotty-nosed cute children.

It beggars the imagination.

I would love to say something brilliant here that would somehow stop all such things in the future, but there is no such thing.

That whole thing was awful. It really was.

Different people have different ideas abaout what the problem is. We cannot make schools that can't be taken by storm, as that one was. So what can we do?

Stop all violence in video games? I don't see that happening; both the ACLU and the companies that produce video games are not going to let go of that.

Lock up all mentally ill people? They used to do that a lot. But I don't see it happening again, and there is no guarentee that you'd get the dangerous ones locked up, anyway.

Gun control could be an answer--if people could get over the idea that it's an American right to own semi-automatic weapons. If the founding fathers were looking at the situation we have today, I think they would be taken aback at what's going on.

I'm just really down over this. Little kids shouldn't have to fear going to school any more than they should have to fear going home. This world is a sad, dangerous place.
