My choir was supposed to have a concert in 2 weeks. It has been canceled. All of our tenors have been called to the army.

It isn't funny but before I saw the subject line my reaction was "there has to be a tenor joke in their someplace."

Okay, one that (and the whole situation) really sucks, and I'm sorry your concert got canceled. I do have to admit, though, that my second thought after that was, "Wait, is there some correlation between tenors and being in a position more likely to be called up whereas the basses are less likely to?"

On a different note, are you reasonably happy with your performance on the GRE? How'd it go?
