Gifts for Andersspin_kick_snapApril 28 2016, 16:48:23 UTC
There were two gifts, wrapped in bright birthday paper. One package was square and normal sized; inside were severalshirtsKathy'dfoundfunny. Yeah, they were all variations on a theme, but she'd figured he'd appreciate them anyway.
The second box was tall, over six feet, and heavy. Inside of that, Anders would find something a bit different than novelty tees. She'd found it online, on a site that people swore up and down was a legitimate store that sold legitimate magic items and while part of her balked at spending so much on what might end up being a 'novelty item' (like she knew the difference between a staff he could use versus an interestingly decorated stick), she'd liked it enough that she'd sucked it up and bought the darn thing anyway.
Attached to that box was a birthday card, personalized with a note.
Happy Birthday, Anders! Here's hoping that the staff is legit and has knocked you on your butt for a minute with how great my gift-giving skills are. Uhh, if the staff isn't legit, I've got a gift receipt so we can send
