SAITA 06.2010 - A DATE WITH KATO SHIGEAKI
In this issue we'll have a sea date with Kato Shigeaki.

"I love the sea! I like the illusion of the city sea where the nature meets the high tech. On important days, like an anniversary, I think that a romantic "on board" date like this would be wonderful! Unfortunately the day of the shooting there was a very strong wind, but from the start to the end Kato-san conforted the staff with his nice smile. Since the theme was the sea, the subject extended to his actual hobby, the fishing...
"Last year I went with Ohno-kun to a fishing meeting of 25 hours, it was super funny! "You did your best in this long time", the captain and Ohno-kun said that I succeed and I gained the "Fishermen's allowance" (lol). I'd like to have again the feeling of having all around me 360° of sea, you feel like the world is all made of water! I eat all the fishes I catch. As sign of respect to life. I always liked to cook but now I'm able to prepare fish dishes too!"
The other thing he likes is photography. During the shootings too he had a small camera with which he took some pictures, you can see them on the edges.
"At home I have a Dark Room, I built by myself. Really, I don't have halfway measures (lol). But since my hobbies are "photography and fishing" I'm called ojiisan a lot by my friends...(lol)"
No no, recently he started to play bouldering too, he has the dream to write a novel, he has a lot of interest and he's full of energy for his career! The ideal girl of Kato-san is maybe a person with whom he can share his hobbies?
"If possible...but it's better if she could meet my rythms, watch over me with all my hobbies and if she could stand all my talking about them (lol). Then, since I'm not good with the washings and I have a lot of useless sides, maybe I'd like to have a person who can help me in all those things (lol). But of course, as a man, I'd be the one to keep the leadership!"

My dream is to cultivate in my veranda's hortus some original vegetables (lol). Since I cook many japanese dishes, my final aim is to put together a bland of cultivated red peppers! But don't know why Koyama recommended me "Okra"...(lol).

When I see pictures inside a frame I think that they are really cool. Well, for now I still didn't take pictures that deserve to be in a frame...(lol).

Watching a scene of a movie where somebody pressed the coffee beans with an old mill, I was influenced (lol). When I have a tea or coffee I feel very calm. What? I really look old? (lol)

Before I had interest into 八虫数 too but you have to feed them with mice twice a week...
I imagined me giving them...I gave up (lol). It's better an animal that eats normal, sold food. Maybe a retro goldfish in a bowl would be cute.
(Don't know what animal is that written in kanji...I guess some snake?)
