So, for the vidders--how do you guys feel about seeing your vids on YourTube posted by other people? I don't mind it, in fact I find it rather flattering since they do give you credit ( Read more... )

personally I wouldn't be impressed if my vids turned up on my space, credit or not. I like to control where my creations are and where my name is being used. If only to keep my LJ as far under the radar as possible but then I'm weird that way :)

And I'm sorry you won't be attending the James con but I'm sure there will be many reports to be read :)

I have had people ask me if they could post them, and I didn't really care that much--but I understand wanting to stay under the radar. Joss is one who encourages us to do the "fan" things, and I wonder if any BTVS/ATS fans have ever gotten cease and desist letters?

It's not so much the cease and desist letters, actually I think that kind of goes with the territory, I know I'm taking other people's creations and messing them up and if they take offence then I only have myself to blame. It's more that I like my privacy as much as it is and don't like having people outside of LJ pointed in my direction, which I know is kinda weird considering it's the internet :/

But I like to play in my playground with people I'm familiar with, which is why I do do the board stuff or anything.

I guess I'm just an LJ girl :)

Eek, no QM? Being a grown up sucks sometimes. Err.. I can't find your email so I PMed you at CDS.

One of the problems with youtube is that the quality of the vid goes right down, and if you aren't credited properly (I know some are, some aren't), people will never find your other vids.

It's just polite to ask. I'd mind, others wouldn't. So asking would be cool :)

That's true, and the quality isn't as good.

I PMed you back at CDS. ;)

Sorry that you can not go to the conv. girl, that sensation sucks!!!

And about the questions... lol wont be stupid something like.. What did you feel working with James? ja, ja, ja.

And I think if other people post your vids in other sites, well that's kind of cool, I think, because they like your work, but yeah, will be nice... better polite that they ask first...

Well, that's always a question to ask, isn't it? Not so dumb to me.

Awww. That sucks that you won't be on the boat with us. :(

I haven't come up with questions for any of the guests yet. I want to come up with something to ask James that he hasn't already been asked a bajillion times!

Because of the QAA monthly thing, lots of good questions have been answered. I want to know if he's got anything on the horizon as for as acting goes. With them screening the questions, even if he does I wonder if it can be asked. (maybe one on one when you do the photo ops)
