You know, I never thought of that and it makes sense. (how you could keep Gunn alive) I don't know if they meant that Spike or Angel sired him or someone else did, but still it would be quite the dilemma for Spike after the fact.

Exactly. Gunn was going to die; that was pretty much a given. I can see Spike siring him in a misguided attempt to keep him alive and then having to shoulder the consequences. Now I'm bummed about the movie that will never be.

After Anne, would Spike have sired someone, though?

Boy, Angel just spelled DOOM for anyone around him, didn't he?

I don't think his instinct was as good as Buffy's. (In other words, I think Spike would give the same SPEECH in TOUCHED after working with Angel--that Buffy was the most reliable leader..lol)

After two years of the ending I'm glad there won't be an Spike movie. As much as I love Joss, I'm a little bit bitter at him about how he treated the character.

I loved the Btvs' S7 Spike, but I disliked Ats' S5 Spike, I felt the writers weren't that aware of Spike's story and they wrote him as an annoying vampire.

I rather read fanfic, those writers have more compassion, knowledge and understanding of the character than the pros.

I guess that's probably the best way to think of it. I wasn't as fond of Spike on ATS as BTVS, I must admit.
