Oh come on, James is like the ONLY person from Buffy who's been very vocal about being willing to return to his role. And maybe they weren't paying enough, and sorry, James is kind of a hot commodity right now so if I were him, I wouldn't be giving out freebies or cheapies!!

Honestly, since all those actors are busy working, perhaps they just couldn't fit it in their schedule, or they wanted them to do it for free or cheap, and people have lives.. Seriously, none of those actors mentioned have been snobs about their Buffy roots--they may not want to go back to them, but they certainly know what that show did for them and acknowledge it.

That certainly explains alot, doesn't it? Also, what if you just want to sit at your house and be with your family? (especially if you are working on other projects) There's not much incentive there if you don't even get paid.

lol. "extend-ier". Whoops, a little freudian slip from Wanda. We must have more Fine, extend him, please. Oh lordy, I'm getting sillier.
That was quite a nasty remark from whomever re; the dvd. I can see a crack that that if he'd ever said anything about not reprising his role. They're just talking out of their hats. I forgot to tell you, I loved the " Sympathy for the Devil" vid. It cut off in the last moments, but it was my 'puters fault, I'm sure. Wow, that was hot and lots of yummy biting.

They're getting "extendier" by the minute.
Always glad to hear that...last I'd heard it was something like 10 episodes, which was up from the 4 or 6 it was originally being said...

But couldn't they just make it the "Prof. Fine Show'? He's a much better actor than anyone on there...maybe they could pull in what's-his-name Lex too....

The WB gave Chad Michael Murray a show after he was on Gilmore Girls and Dawson's Creek..Jared Padalecki (or whatever) got Supernatural after GG and Milo Ventimiglia had GG then the screwed up show and now Beford Diaries or something...so see, James had Buffy, then Angel, then Mountain, now Smallville..he's long over due for his own show--even according to the WB's rules ;)

And JM snubbing Buffy? Yeah, um sure! ;)

That would be fun to see him in more than ten episodes. I didn't know what to expect, but that's a great character.

I agree, give James his OWN show. Or put him in DRESDEN FILES!!!

Yeah, I agree, give him his own show. I bet if Dresden Files was picked up by the WB instead of the SciFi Channel, he would already have the part. :-)

Well, yeah--or maybe he just didn't want to do work that day.

I'm not opposed to the hot robot taking over Smallville at all!
