Not the best news first thing in the morning

I had a phone call from Mum this morning. Dad has had a stroke. He has been taken to the local country hospital and has been admitted. He's had an EEG which was fine and is to have blood tests and a CAT scan.

She says he was still able talk although he was very slurred. I am waiting to hear more when Mum has been to see him.

I'm too tired to do a full update but he is doing okay. His speech and memory are good but he has lost the use of his left side.
