I don't know what the whole Spike looking off meant. But it does give you something to think about. Might write a drabble about a (highly unlikely) possible interpretation...
As for Cordy guesting for the 100th... Do you really think that would mean she wakes up?
Seems like it would be something else unless she's coming back for good. Like her spirit visiting Angel, or...something. Visiting in dreams, memories, visions... You know?

I kept on getting the feeling that Spike was fighting for Buffy in that scene. Because everytime Angel would make a comment about Spike doing stuff just to sleep with Buffy, he would lose it. Maybe Spike was seeing Buffy as he fought? Who knows.

You know?I'm seeing something along the lines of Cordy waking up, seeing this foreign environment. Then, she sees the medical staff around her, she asks one of them where she is, and the staff member says she's in Wolfram and Hart. From there, the fun begins with Angel trying to explain to Cordy why he's working for the people that tortured her with the painful

Hmmm...yes, it could make things very interesting. I'd like to see that scenario played out.
But unless the 100th episode is the last of the season, and Charisma is coming back the next season then how would they in effect, explain her disappearing again?

Well, that's where things get depressing. Since the hundredth is episode 12 (yesterday's was 9), the only way things can conclude is with Cordy leaving team Angel because she doesn't believe what they're doing is right. This opens up possibilities for later guest roles, but allows her character some closure and (say it with me) Angel angst. This could be a good thing, however, with Angel realizing how much Cordy really means to him without her there anymore. Then again, this could most likely bite us in the ass with Angel turning his attention to Buffy (like that's any different now ever since the series finale for BtVS with all the lip action).
