We have year-round skating on indoor rinks, but this is real skating! This is just a picturesque portion. The whole thing is almost 6 miles long. Plus there are community rinks all over, and a few chilled public pads. That’s why we love winter here.

We have inside skating rinks, too, but once Halloween passes, it's usually cool enough at night to start the outside skating. It only goes until the end of this month, though. After that it's too warm, both at night and during the day.
No snow here but this week will be our January freeze week. Down to freezing at night and no higher than 14°C by day. A whole week of that. For us, it's the coldest we ever get. And I want Spring. Buenos días!
That was us last week. I have a feeling that we are done with the main brunt of winter here. The trees are already starting to bud out. I'm ready, too.

Wow, people have been skating here since October. Granted, they are maintained rinks, but still. I'm always ready for winter to be over. :P
