I’m not familiar with the fandom if this is fanfic, but you used the words really well. And that’s a great surprise ending.

I am with DP, I wish I could comprehend the setting of your piece, but it was great fun!

Thanks! It's a great series, combining my love of police shows, buddy shows, and a touch of horror.

And mine….

“Going a little overboard, aren’t you?” Napoleon watched his partner complete a third security check of their hotel room.

Illya shrugged. “The people here are unfriendly.”

“They only have our word we’re the heroes of their town’s little drama. The Thrushies were buried in rubble or slipped through our net.”

“Since we deprived them of alternate targets for their ire, we should stay in tonight.”

“We’ll go hungry.” Napoleon opened a night stand drawer containing only a battered bible. “No room service.”

The Russian glared through the window at the frozen landscape. “Then let’s go make peace with the natives.”

I hope they can find a good meal - Illya is difficult when hungry!

Good job!

A rather daunting collection of words! But here is mine…

“My cousin taught me how the natives used nets to fish these smaller rivers,” Napoleon explained in his best professorial tone.
“Not to deprive you of the opportunity to display your expertise,” Illya replied sarcastically, “but won’t this be difficult to accomplish in partially frozen water?”
Solo sighed. “Where’s your sense of enterprise? Leave this to me, you go start a fire to cook up our catch.”
“Wait!” Illya grabbed his Special. “There’s movement near the cabin. Our Thrush friends. I will welcome them.”
“My hero,” Solo mocked.
Kuryakin smirked. “To paraphrase the Bible, I will fish for men!”

You used the words really well, OF. I can picture Illya's face when Napoleon is in 'professor' mode.

I don't really know Grimm either.

However, you have used the words really well, they all fit in perfectly. That's quite a little twist at the end.

What's even more fun is that Monroe is a Blutbad(a werewolf sort of creature when shifted, but also a vegetarian.). He'd never cook a turkey. That's Monroe on the left and Nick on the right in my user picture)

Thanks for reading anyhow.

Oh, that is extra fun. Yes, I recognise the characters from when you've written them before and you told me a bit about the series and I also looked it up and thought it might well be something J & I would enjoy at some point.

I'll always read your stories.
