A calm start to our wild day of Christmas shopping here. We are headed off to Sacramento with Jeff for shopping and lunch.

I ended up going to the grocery store around 2pm. Spent $100 in 1 hr. By 3pm I was back in the kitchen putting the groceries away.

Some convenience foods and a couple of items that weren't on my list but were a good price ... like a tray of cubed chicken breast. I divided them into 2 bags just under 1 lb each and put them in the freezer. Also got a bunch of soups, canned and instant to add to sandwiches for the future.
