We have some decorations out and in and we give out candy. If I could I would have a yard filled with large, gaudy decorations, lol. Same for Christmas!
My favorite candy is Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures.
We did! Never had any in Iowa.
I do, but I haven't in a while.
Trick or treating with my daughter when she was little, and the same when I was a kid.
1. I don't celebrate Halloween, but usually worked it so... 2. I love candy corn, and caramel apples. And popcorn balls made from scratch. I would trade chocolate or coconut for apples. 3. In the 40 years we have lived here we have had only one trick or treated. We live on a dark road, and the houses are not close, with no sidewalks. It isn't safe. 4. Nope. Only did it as a kid and even then I thought it cringe worthy. 5. Getting to take our late grandson trick or treating... he was a toddler, 20 months old dressed as Elmo. Happy memories of him with my mom, my aunt and my aunt and uncle.
1. Do you celebrate or observe Halloween? How? Sort of. This is the first time I decorated the house (because it's the first time it's my house, so I got some stuff) and generally watch scary movies.
2. What is your favorite Halloween candy? I always say THE KORN, although I really don't eat it anymore.
3. Do you get trick-or-treaters on Halloween? Not where I was before, but this year I got quite a few. It was great.
4. Do you enjoy dressing up in costumes? I HATE it. I was in the chorus for La Traviata and I LOVE the music but HATED dressing up. Really hated it. And the tiny itty bitty bit of "acting" I was called upon to do. Feels uncomfortable, artificial, fake.
5. What is your favorite Halloween memory? Can't say I have a particular one.

Anything chocolate-and-peanut-butter, especially dark chocolate! 🥜 🍫
We used to have lot of them, but the numbers are dwindling. 😕
Dressing up is my jam! Usually I'm a Witch, but I've done other costumes, too. Witch because I own a pointed hat and broom. 🧹🧙🧹
Trick-or-treating as a kid. Nothing like it! 👻 ☺️ 👻

We had exactly 2 (!) trick or treaters ... but that's 2 more than last year!
I love liquorice actually ... haha! Haribo have bats with a fruity body and liquorice wings ... yum!
