Better yet, plant poison ivy on top of it and nobody will ever come near the place!

Experienced gardeners know. Forget what you read in these cheapie How to get away with Murder handbooks.

Hmm, sounds like you are a bit too knowledgeable about this...

Anybody who's ever watched the police at a crime scene can tell you that if you make sure the body is deeper than two feet, the police will never find it--unless you got lazy and left some metal on or in the body.
Besides, planting endangered or rare plants on top of a body is just encouraging a gardener to come along and dig them up and----OOPS!----Find the body as well!

You've really thought this through. If Mr. Rodie goes missing...

I don't know so much about the "thinking this through" part. I'd put it down to what comes of having read way, way too many books over a long lifetime.
My Darling may be a bit aggravating in places but, truth to tell, I couldn't do without him. Besides, we've made it through 31 years of married "bliss".... and do remember: Divorces are still fairly easy to get no matter what plans the political far right might have.

If worse came to worse, I'd say it was far better to get a divorce no matter how much poorer we both wound up, than for one of us to wind up spending the rest of our miserable life in jail.

:^)

EDIT--Now enough of this---It's too pretty a day for such dreary talk!

I plan on spending the rest of the day thinking only happy thoughts. {{{Hugs you!}}}

Sounds like me. There are times when TBG is a handful, but after (gads) nearly fifty years, I'd miss him, too.

Excellent. I hope the day was kind and made you smile!
