1. Do you believe that music can have a direct effect on your life?
I definitely think so. Music/songs make us feel good, or sad. They can bring back memories.
2. What is your current favorite song?
I have many favorites. I can't pick just one. It depends on my mood. Nostalgia, happiness, sadness, mellowness. I have songs for just about every feeling.
3. What's the one song from junior high that you can still rattle off all the words to?
Soldier Boy by The Shirelles,
Baby Love by The Supremes,
My Boyfriends Back by The Angels
Elvis ... all his songs
4. Did you have a prom song? Don't be embarrassed, we all did it.
I did not have a prom song. I didn't go to my prom.
5. Do you and your significant other have a "song" that you share?
No we don't. In the car, we'll sing to a lot of the same songs.
No worries. I hate that particular feature. We were a very progressive school. No walls, we called teachers by their first names, had really interesting classes that ran M,W,F or Tu, Th, more like a college. Loved the school to bits. No one really seemed to mind. We didn't have dances either, but we had a great drama program, which is where I was introduced to theatre. Just for that alone, I hold it in high regard.
3) I didn't really pay attention to what was popular then (I only remember one title that some of you might be familiar with: Anthony's Song by Billy Joel)
4) I didn't go to prom, which was "a blessing" because several of my classmates were arrested that night...
5) I have a different song for each cat (Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin for Tovarish, Lovers Cross by Jim Croce for Tomodachi and Bless the Beasts and the Children by The Carpenters for Maneki)
