3. WOW, was Australia just this year, it seems so far back. :o

5. I just heard tonight that the streaming service Pluto TV carries the Rose Parade. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now to remember to watch it. lol........

2. Nothing much happened for me in 2023.

4. Any resolutions I make on New Year’s day are usually broken by tea time.

5. My tradition now is to lay in bed and listen to the fireworks going off.

Oh, God, I’ve just realised how gloomy I sound.

*hugs* I usually wake up with the sound of fireworks and gunshots. Don't mind the first, worry about the second.

1. Good health for us, our friends and family.
2. Missing some dear friends, some who passed away, and one whose memory is nearly gone.
3. Cataract surgery with astigma correction. New eyes, wow, I can see!
4. Every year, same resolutions... LOL
5. We go to dinner with another couple to the same supper club.

I had cataract surgery too this year (October and November) and it was an eye-opener (no pun intended). I had no idea how bad my eyesight had actually been. It was indeed the best thing that happened to me this year.
