I always think of my dad, a WWII vet. And I always take out his army jacket with the insignia and say thank you.
(I saved that jacket from being tossed out by my sister and brought it home with me after dad died and am so glad I did.)

Well done. We have one of Dad's uniform jackets, too. I might make some egg nog using his old war diary today.
