Thanks for reading. It was a tough prompt, but worked out pretty well. It was sad when they ended it (and Angel, too), but such is life... or death, in Buffy's case.

This is really, really good and powerful.

It's bittersweet and very moving and brought tears to my eyes more than once. It's poignant and full of pathos and truth and pain without much hope. Except you know that no matter what Buffy & Spike will always be lovers on and off and have one another, even if there is no one else around.
