1-Nope. I never had the need to get a flu shot and the last time I got the flu was in high school.

2-Not yet. I'm quite minimalist when it comes to decorations and will probably do some decorating and get my mini Xmas tree out by the 21st.

3-House cleaning.

4-At home. Trying to avoid the triple crud of Covid variants, flu/cold, etc.

5-Sure am!

You're very fortunate! With all the traveling we do, I prefer to keep the odds in my favor.

That's me for every other holiday except this one and Halloween.

Good luck avoiding stuff. We tried and it was for naught. I'm just glad we were fully vaccinated and boosted.

I'm so glad you're recovering. Please share your baking results with us, if you can. I want to enjoy the goodies vicariously!

We made many mini fruitcakes, would you like one? I'm serious.

1. Got my flu shot (extra strength for age 65+) on 10/11, COVID 5th shot on 9/14 prior to visiting my folks on 9/24. Now I hope the vaccine protection isn't waning, because I visit them again on 12/28.

2. I never bedeck my halls. We don't celebrate winter (or most other) holidays. Even so, this year we received a small, real fir tree (with a small package of LED lights - which I just gave away today). The unadorned tree is happy on the kitchen table until I plant it outside. We also received an ornament, but it's bigger than the tree.

3. Vacuum. Now that I have a long-haired cat, it's required more often. And friends might visit next week.

4. Definitely at home. I'm being even more of a hermit than usual, to try to avoid getting sick before visiting my folks!

5. I've been so over it for too long, for too many reasons. Someday maybe I'll post about some or all of them. Meanwhile, I'm also grateful for many reasons. And there is hope that 2023 will be better than the past 3 years.

Excellent. Always best to be careful, especially this year.

I got one of those little fir trees for my desk at work one year. The silly thing is over six feet tall now. :DD

I have good hopes for 2023, too.

1. Flu shot and Shingles shot taken care of.
Now because of getting covid, I have to wait for my next booster. :o

2. Not quite there yet. :o
Running out of time. :o
If it would stop snowing it would help.

3. Finish the tree, but I work. :o

4. I will be working. :( :( :(

5. Yeah, I am kind of over this year, but really over Winter. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs, Jon

Well done! BTW, thanks for my card. I love it.

I'm sorry that you will get stuck working it. :(

And I remember you were all excited about getting snow, too. :P

Make sure you look inside... just a hint. :D

I'm glad it got there.

That used to be me, too.

1. Yep, as soon as they were available. Got my Omicron booster the same day.

2. Mostly bedecked, but still a few things to do. Like figure out where the garlands are.

3. Do Christmas cards, bake cookies, do laundry, clean up the boxes of decorations that aren't going to get put up....it's endless.

4. Home. I don't ski, it's too cold to swim (the lake is too cold for me even in summer), and it's too far to go anywhere interesting.

5 Kind of, but not really. Tired of the onslaught of diseases, and wars, and economic crap, but I don't really want the holidays to be over (even though we're not doing anything) and I don't see the new year making any of the problems go away.

Good for you.

Good luck finding the garlands!

Oh, dear, I think it might be too late for cards. Darn that luck! :D
