Hope your blood pressure behaves now ...

It would be nice being able to go back to "life". I'm definitely ready as well.

I fear it has been the allergy meds I've been taking. I'll stop and see what happens.

White Coat Syndrome is real, believe me. That could be jacking up your blood pressure. Think taking the daily reading is a good option. At least you'll know then whether you actually need meds. And especially, congrats on the weight loss! That's a huge success.

Tests can be a good thing - I'm always happy when my doc orders various tests. It keeps us ahead of potential problems. And wouldn't it be amazing if we are getting to status quo with covid? What do they call it, the endemic stage? I think we'll have to be more cautious than we were before covid, but still can get back to mostly normal behavior.

Pity the DVD was more ego-lecture than educational and informational. But Barb sure was trying to get you something you would like. That was an awesome gesture.

Dog chase! At least TBG got his exercise in. ;-)

Thanks! I don't care much for docs, but have never had a reading that high before. I've been taking allergy meds, so that could be contributing to it, too. It just seemed to be more thoughtful than just putting me on meds for it for being high once.

I haven't had my thyroid tested for a while, which is odd considering I'm on medication for it. We will have to see what happens. At least I will get all the paperwork for it, so I can share with Sparky.

The other lecture series I have is from the same place, but it is just the difference in approach. Dr. Briar makes you feel engaged. The other one, not as much.

He's used to chasing cats, but dogs were entirely different.

My BP is high, too. I gave my bp cuff to my mom, so I really need to get another one . . . I'll do that today when I go to the store.

I hope we are starting to see the end of Covid!

Silly doggie! Glad he was finally caught!

Happy Robert Burns Day! I'll have to watch the video later. Peter came down the hall from his office to ask me to turn down my audiobook. I'm not playing bagpipe music right now, lol. ;)

We have several, both cuff and fingertip (not as accurate, though).

Wouldn't it be a godsend to be over that crisis? We'll still have to deal with some crap from it, but at least the fear factor won't be as awful.

I can appreciate that. TBG is used to hearing bagpipe music with me around. :DD

You wouldn't believe it, but I've actually got some of those books! :DD I actually find O'Connor very readable. and I've got all the Mummy movies (almost as big a fan of his as I am the Big Green Guy).

Thanks. I will check out the others.

David O'Connor was the other guy I worked for when I was a work-study student. He was an Aussie and a cool guy. He is very readable.

Lanny Bell was an instructor finishing his Ph.D. dissertation and also nice, except for his habit of singing Wagner in chicken (cluck, cluck, cluuuuck, cluukkk). He and his wife worked as a team, Lanny specializing in the written language and Martha in the physical objects.
