This, my friend, is one of your very best stories (in fact overall one of the best stories I have read). It has so much going on it and evokes so many different emotions. It had humour, tension, a puzzle, action, Mr. Waverly, Mr. Waverly in action; sarky Illya, cold Illya. You name it, it had it.

I loved the Napoleon/Illya 'married couple' banter throughout (especially the bit pertaining to the jail break-out, that was so spot on). I'm with Napoleon, of course Illya would have known - something would have given the the fake-Napoleon away.

And the ending . . . That I really didn't see coming - especially the twist with the eye colour. *Shivers*

It's a superb story.

Wow, thank you so much. It was a lot of fun to write once I got my mind around a familiar prompt in fandom.

Sparky and I had a long discussion about the ending. She thought it wasn't necessary, but my mind insisted. :D
