Ianto Jones, always. He's why I keep writing fix-its.

Amen. That's why I write fix-its, too.

Maes Hughs in Fullmetal Alchemist

Spock in Wrath of Khan (yes he came back but I STILL cry every time).

Talk about a heroic death, though. He went with style (and came back the same way)

I admit to crying my eyes out sometimes when a fictional character dies, but when the book is finished, it's finished, and I put it behind me.

I wish I could do that, but I get too attached to some.

I hated it when Nick Andros died in The Stand. Also, Tris in the last book in the Divergent Series. Both of those seriously sucked.

I've never read either series, but I totally know what you mean.

That was sad. Also Arnie in Christine?

Toby Wren in Doomwatch. You probably have never heard of it but it was a good series, and they killed him off at the end of the first series in 1970. He defused the nuclear warhead, but the conventional explosive triggered and he'd dropped the screwdriver.

Nope, I haven't heard of him or the series, but that doesn't make his death any less sad.
