But actually I'm both, I find that a lot of these characteristics apply to dogs too. :-)

It is of course rather strange to decide if you're a dog or a cat person, based on your choice of music or musical instrument. What does that mean about people who don't like the type of music they base their questions on (it's mostly all about classical music )

I've rehearsed for choral stuff, band (orchestral) stuff and rock band stuff and have never had a "desk partner" - what the hell is that?

Yeah, I've never had that happen. Not that sheet music is cheap, but I've always had my own. I mean, you can't sit that close - well, I played flute - so I certainly couldn't have!

I was in a school (as in high school equivalent) orchestra and the budget was limited, so the two of us on bassoon had to share. It was probably easier for bassoons than flutes since they’re played vertically rather than horizontally :D
