Just stumbled onto this post, and it makes me so happy! I don't think I've pulled out my Kliban books in 20 years - and that's far too long. I am now surrounded by two cats and several Kliban books, and I'm not sure how I ever forgot how wonderful these cartoons were!

YAY! Kliban was such fun and his cat drawings had tremendous whimsy in them - and always so much to look at! have a wonderful holiday and chin tucks to your little ones!
