Spike's frantic reaction to the bloodied shirt was vivid and had my heart in my throat. I thought he was getting somewhere, but when his guide took a runner, I was sure he was back at square one.

Having that exit cut off was an excellent plot device to get him to Angel, but now there's another human being that knows where Spike went down. That and the stench of sulphur have me waiting for someone to come after these two.

This was another exciting, vivid chapter. Spike's reaction to Angel was pitch perfect - love and anger jumbled together even as he's ministering to the poor, injured idiot.

Spike's very resourceful. The bloody shirt scared him plenty, but he wasn't about to give up on his Angel. Especially with no way back. :)

There is someone after them. If they catch up, it could be very bad. But maybe it will call on reserves Spike doesn't know he has.
