Oh, wouldn't that have been great? Ethan, Spike and Lindsey! Poor Angel wouldn't know what hit him! Hee!

I'm hoping to get Verizon DSL this week, so may be back on-line in the near future. Yay!

Cool! I'm afraid I probably forgot to tell you that the deadline was shifted until Wednesday -- (my sister is giving birth today and I'm just taking a brief break right now to log in and check on things). But I'm bookmarking this and will put it in the masterlist on Wed. (at which point I should actually have time to READ and COMMENT).

Sorry for confusion!

Thanks for hooking me up. I've only been on-line for brief periods for the past 6 weeks; hopefully, I'll be getting a new internet provider soon! I had a brief moment of terror, when I saw your name crossed out, but went to your new LJ name and discovered it was you, after all, so it's all good. Can't wait to read the ficathon stories.

Oh, very nice! Always good to see a story from you; but I particularly like this one.

I wondered what happened to Our Favorite Chaos Mage after the fyarl fiasco; (one of my disappointments in season 7 was the lack of Ethan) but this story is a great answer to that question. Really enjoyed the story!

So glad you enjoyed this! I definitely agree that S7 could have benefited from the presence of Ethan! I couldn't let them just ship him off to the "facility" in the Nevada desert and leave him there! Hee!

Oh now that was lovely! Whoot!

Love Spike in this. Really do. Not too sappy in love and all that rot, but just the right amount. exactly as he'd have been for those first weeks after The Gift.

Now, I'm woefully sorry! My Ethan is not nearly so good as yours. *sigh* I find him exceedingly difficult to write, but I did my best! Yeah, I had your Lindsey and Ethan request. I hope you like it. *frets*

Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed this. I love writing Spike, and was thrilled to be given the chance to figure out how he went from being overwhelmed by the pain and failure or Buffy's sacrifice to helping out the Scoobies on patrol and taking care of Dawn.

I definitely enjoy Ethan as a character, and love that you had Ethan be the one to give the amulet to Lindsey. Thanks so much for the story.

A lovely story! I’ve sat engrossed, enjoying every word, sad when it finally ended. You can’t want more from a fic.

I’ve friended you - hope that’s OK with you. You don’t need to friend back if you hate me, my site or my fiction!

So glad you enjoyed this, and I'm thrilled that you friended me. I haven't been around much lately, as I've been locked in mortal combat with my Internet provider for the past 6 weeks (I had gotten cable TV and cable Internet access from the same provider; the cable TV sucked and was very expensive for the amount of channels we got, so I wanted to drop the TV part and get satellite TV, but keep the cable Internet. They were not accommodating and refused to make any changes as the initial TV order was in my ex's name [and he's been gone since Sept. 2003]. I tried for months, and finally stopped paying the TV portion of the bill, hoping that would do the trick. Not so - they just cut off both TV and Internet, so now I'm hoping to get DSL, which isn't as fast as cable, but much faster than dial-up. *sigh*)

So, hopefully, I'll have Internet access soon, and if you don't mind, will friend you back.
