Coincidence or Foreshadowing?

Tee hee! Jay and I were watching the Harry Potter movies he got me for Christmas last year, and in rewatching Goblet of Fire, I suddenly realized David Tennant plays Barty Crouch, Jr. I hadn't picked up on that before. And then . . . while camping at the Quiddich World Cup, their tent utilizes Time Lord technology - it's bigger on the inside!

Though I had remembered Tenant's role as Crouch Jr. In fact, there was one point in S2 when I found myself saying, "Look, if he wants me to stop thinking of him as Barty Jr., he needs to never, ever do that flicky thing with his tongue again!"

After S3, I think I'm finally over that. LOL

For some reason, I never really noticed Crouch, Jr. in the movie before, and when rewatching it, it just made me giggle. Bwahaha! The tongue flick! Methinks he may need to take lessons from Spike re: proper use of the tongue. *eg*

I kept waiting for Harry to look in the tent and then pop back out and walk around it and say "It's bigger on the inside!" Tee hee hee!

I knew he's in it, but at the time I watched the movie I had no idea who he actually was. I should rent it sometime!

And you are so, so right about the Master turning him into Dobby. My friends and I emailed each other about that when the season 3 finale aired!

Me, either! Yes! You must rent it! I lucked out in that my son gave me the HP special set for Christmas last year, and it's really cool! All five movies, a set of House badges, and various other cool stuff that I can't remember right now, but it's really neat! We watched all five movies last year right after Christmas, but I never made the Tennant connection. It was just while rewatching it, waiting for my S4 Doctor Who DVDs to arrive that I noticed the OMG! coincidence! of David Tennant AND the Ti8me Lord tent in the same movie! Bwahaha!

And I still can't watch The Stolen Earth where the Dalek says "Resistance is useless" without mentally substituting "futile" in place of "useless". Ah, fandoms . . . how I love you!
