Love it! What a great chapter...the Giles scene in the park had me on the verge of dozing with him. I was seeing and feeling everything that he did. :) I had a terrible craving for a dog, though, after Willow found him. *LOL* When you got everyone together, I was struck by how perfectly in character all of their voices were - great job. And poor Ethan, at least he knows that Giles is coming for him, now. *pets him*

Oh, thank you, sweetie! I was a little nervous about the structure of this story, due to the requirements - I was afraid it would be too Giles-centric for an Ethan ficathon - but I'm glad to know it works for you!

Poor Ethan - stuck in that stupid Initiative prison for all that time! But his white knight is coming to save him (with a little help from his friends), and I have a feeling Ethan won't go quietly. *snerk*

Want hotdog now. Love the business with the cables, too, instead of email. And I love that this is going to be a Scooby joint production-- I do love it when those four get along and make trouble for the baddies.

Oh, me too! There's just something "magical" about the Core Four working together - add in Ethan, and who knows what might happen!

I was turning this section over in my mind, and had to stop and throw a hot dog on the electric grill (only I had it with sauerkraut) before I sat down to write it. Hee! The power of suggestion . . .

Oh, I'm enjoying this quite a lot! I particularly like the parallel you've drawn between Spike and Ethan. I can see where that could get quite interesting.

Oh, thank you. I've always thought Spike and Ethan were quite similar, personality-wise, through their joint love of mayhem, right down to being Buffy's and Giles' "dirty little secret" of whom they're afraid the others wouldn't approve.

I really was unhappy with the Buffy-Giles disconnect in canon, and so since I had a request to bring the Scoobies into this fic, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to fix that. *g*
