Humour me - what's spring watch?

It's a live program on BBC2 at 8pm (every night?), where Bill Oddie and the very lovely Kate Humble present different aspects of nature, watching things as we go into (the end of) Spring. They have a Simon whateverhisnameis up in Shetlands this year, with his cameras and birdwatching kit, and they have webcams all over the place.

They even have a webcam on nest of Red Kites! Er, am I getting a bit over-excited?...

Yeah, you should - or tape it! And if you have digital, I think they're doing something on BBC4 as well.

Hello Spike, I went on a search for lj users who are on bcuk and found you. My lj is having a break (but only for another few days methinks ;)) and has been about knitting only but now will include bookcrossing, yay! Oops, I'm knitnurse on bcuk - I have so many names, I don't really know why. May I add you as an lj friend?

Thanks for your reassuring comment on bcuk yesterday, I honestly don't know the form yet. I am aware that I am coming into a place where everybody knows each other, in REAL LIFE even, and know it will take a while to feel at home.

I came onto this post in particular as I was so thrilled to see Bill Oddie last night saying that they got 4 and a half million viewers. There's hope for us all yet. You can have Kate and I kind of think I wouldn't mind being married to Bill. His heart's definitely in the right place. Sorry to waffle :D
