Is this just a conitnuation/improvement on MSN Messenger? I've been told that it is but if it is then why doesn't' MSN messenger ask me to download it, as it does with other updates, when I log in?

PS - Gotta love this song. In fact, gotta love this song, album and artist.

Windows Live Messenger is just the latest version of MSN messenger. I've been using it since sometime in April when the beta version came out. Its all part of MSN's spanky new Windows Live thing.

Ah ok. So is it better than my MSN Messenger (7.5) then??

Depends how you define better. It has a lot of features that 7.5 doesn't. Like still being able to talk to people while appearing offline, sharing folders (which I've never managed to get to work!), and various other bits and pieces that 7.5 doesn't have. It still has the habit of being a complete bitch though! *lol*

Hmm...... that doesn't make my mind up for me..... I assume I'd need to un-install MSN Messenger 7.5 first though?
