Just found this interesting 153 pages book about patterns and technique to made corsets.

WOW!
i had to have a closer look at the pattern pic in the 2nd to last picture.. nice shape - looks like the pattern pieces only go as far as the side seam though.
I copied the pic so i could inspect it when i have more time, hope that is ok

I could send the back of this 6 pieces pattern tomorrow when my camera batterie return to plenty charge.

Here scans of this pattern from the book, so i suppose you could print and enlarge it X2 on xerox machine to get the correct pattern.
the printed pattern on the book is half size.
The book was so hard to scan due to the uncommon horizontal size, that you will have to do some manipulations, sorry.

I sell antique corsets sometime, but books are the last things i will take appart.
I think it's a good thing to let know this books and others exist, like that, people could search for copies.
I was grateful to other people who let us know about Leoty, Libron...books.
Like that i was abble to looking for them.
I would like to scan this book to be abble to share as i don't get in mind to keep it for myself only.
But this book got strange long long size and i can't put it on my scan machine to do correct scans.
I will look for solution and maybe will be abble to share web files copies in futur.

dont mind for sharing.Internet give me a lot, so i should do a bit dispit i'm so lazy sometime!!

Je suis en recherche d'un livre sur la confection des corsets. J'ai quelques livres sur la matière mais tout ceux-ci sont hélas en anglais..
J'ai vu que vous aviez fait quelques scannes de votre merveilleux livres et je me demandais comment il était possible d'en avoir une copie..
