They're still dead. Who's to say they're not all dead at home? They were all meant to be my responsibility before they went free. Who's to say they're not dead right now?
They make people alive here, I'm pretty sure death doesn't last here, so they can't just drag people here to kill them, and even if they did, they'd be made alive again.

Getting independent does not mean completely leaving or hating you. Only growing up.
[Kiwi is planning to get independent in the near future, once this whole bloody war is over, but that does not mean abandoning England. At least not from the dominion's point of view. Leaving the Commonwealth or stripping the English King/Queen of their place in the constitution are out of the question.]
