Do you need to be specifically qualified to become a librarian? I'd love to do that!

It's actually ridiculous - you need a degree (in any relevant sort of subject), and then to be an actual qualified 'proper' librarian you have to have a Masters in Information Management or something equally exciting (specific library stuff). Which I don't have, so I'm only an Assistant Librarian, technically :)
